Stand On A Promise

Often times we come to places of great dryness of heart and spirit!! We feel so alone. As if God is nowhere near us at all! We get scared, start to trip and stumble in the fear of darkness. We start looking for a way out. A way to bail out of our trials! But in these times, beloved, we must not start searching for a escape route!! We have been put right where we are for a reason! For a lesson. Now is the time to search the scriptures, and hear the word of God, and take it as a word to our heart. For His word will never fail! He cannot lie against Himself!! So when you read and hear His word… take it as a promise. Although you may not feel Him near… it’s still a promise! Even though you cannot see Him… it’s still a promise!! Though you may not think He cares right now… it’s a promise. Even though you may think He doesn’t even hear you, nor see you… it’s still a promise!! So… take His word… and stand on it!! For it is a promise that you can stand on forever. Here is a promise for you to start with… Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper!!! Stand on it!!
