The Self Existing One

In the Old Testament, God would expose Himself to His people in a way that they had never known, and then they would take the action that He had performed and give it a name in the Hebrew tongue. But there is sometimes God would simply come out, work His work and expose His nature by giving Himself the name He desired. God called Himself the LORD which in some places would be translated out to literally say Jehovah, meaning “I AM the Self Existing One.”

This is how He revealed Himself to Moses in the burning bush in the desert by saying “I AM has sent you…” He literally is “the One who was, who is, and who always will be” (Revelation 11:17) He is Jehovah.

Today I would like to apply this to you and me by asking this one question… are you trying to help God live in your life? God doesn’t need any help from you in that of His power. He simply says, “you go in my name as I AM, you stand in knowing Me as the One that has always been, and will always be… Unchangeably God… and no mountain will be to large, no red sea will be to big! Just let me be God in you… and I will work all that needs to be. I AM… let Me be that in and through you.”

Beloved, we need not try and help God with our fleshly ways of understanding, let us just come to see that He Is and Always Will Be… and when we live in Him we are as Eternal as Him.
