Buds Breakdown Study Of Hebrews 12:13

Hebrews 12:13 (King James Version)

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

(My View)

The writer now speaks of clearing the way before us. He is saying in other words “you are still yet flesh I know. For you are human. But you can overcome the flesh. Make good paths for yourself. Sanctify yourself. Do what you know is right! Get as close to God as you can! For He will kill that disease called flesh. So you may be a brighter testimony of His Holiness, and a encouragement to the body of believers.”

(Keep This In Mind)

Every choice you make in a day is part of the process of leading you down a path. It is up to us as the choosers, to make the most holy decisions, so we can walk on the most holy paths of Righteousness.

(The Breakdown)

As you go along your way, cut through the thorns and painful thickets that is before you, (with the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God) and make paths for your feet that are firm and plain, (that is to make paths that are solid, or strong in Christ, and make paths that are pure, not cluttered by flesh and corruption) and that will always lead you into the deeper fellowship with your Heavenly Father. So that your unhealthy limbs (the parts that are still bound in flesh, and are therefore made lame, deformed and handicap by flesh) may not be put out of joint or use, and forced to be of no glory to God, but rather healed by His Grace (that is the part of you that has been bound and made inoperable to the Kingdom of God, because of flesh, can be not just dragged around forever as a mockery to Gods delivering and overcoming power, but healed for the Glory of His Kingdom. For every part of you He desires to have in greatest condition, so that He may proclaim through all areas of your life that He is God!!)

(Last Thought)

I am tired of that disease that demands I not obtain my full release of being made into the full reflection of Christ! Are you? Lets make the right choices, cut through the pain, and work our way closer to our perfecting Father. Let us obtain!!
