Exhausted

Are you tired of fighting? Are you loosing grip of your sword? Is your feet starting to stumble? Are you falling back inch by inch? Are you getting ready to tuck tail and run? Are you on your last ounce of faith? Bleeding and worn… tired and torn? Misunderstood, and feeling alone? Searching for a solution, ready to slide back into your old comfort zone? Powerless over your enemy? Thinking of surrender? All because you are in such spiritual exhaustion? Your lips longing for that cool fresh water of the Holy Ghost! Your stomach growling for some meat of the word… but you are to weary and confused on how to satisfy these needs! Thinking that you have lost this battle and will never rise again? “This is my last battle” you think to yourself. “I just cant fight anymore! Lord!!!!! I am so tired!! Why wont you help me?! Do you want me to die in this spiritual exhaustion?!”
I know where you are beloved. I have been there many times in my two and a half years of hell fighting. The only words I can speak to you in this time of great spiritual exhaustion, is simply what a wonderful man of God once told me. “Son… in my fifty years of walking with Christ, there is one thing I have learned… to thank God for every trial and test. For out of them trials and tests… you learn who He is deeper than ever before.”

Rest in knowing these words beloved. He doesn’t want you to die in your spiritual exhaustion. So although you are exhausted… although the pain and weakness is great… and surrender sounds better each second… don’t give in! For you are getting ready to learn your Heavenly Father… more than ever before.
