I'm Not So Big

Last Friday night, I was just enjoying fellowship with this Great Christ I serve, when I felt an enormous partial realization of how huge this Great God I love, really is. I began to weep as I lay in my bed, realizing how insignificant my life really is. Oftentimes we get to puffed up in ourselves, thinking that we have everything under control, when truthfully, we hold nothing but empty dreams, and broken promises. Think for just a moment, this Great God we serve, spoke galaxies into existence, and the bible says, He measures the whole universe by the span of His hand. Beloved, in case you don’t know, there is billions and billions of light-years worth of galaxies that, we as human beings have never even yet discovered. There is only one word I can think of right now to explain the greatness of just this single thought, ….wow!! To think that our God has not only spoken this all into existence, but how small it is compared to His greatness. We are just as a speck of earth, but yet we are born again, into the image of this magnificence Christ. O wow! How small I really am, but how great He is within me. Beloved, just try to picture the smallest thing known to your human mind, and compare it to the size of the world. This is still yet a ridiculously small example of our smallness compared to Gods greatness.
Dear soul, can you say with me, “I realize Lord, I’m not so big after all, but you are.”? When we realize this smallness of each human life, we should that much more totally trust Christ with our little life. In ever way, just realize He is bigger than life itself! There is nothing He cant handle, for He, along with God the Father, and God the Holy Ghost, was before the foundation of the earth, and are the same now as then, and will always be the same. Let us stop trying to take things in our own hands, and let us truly understand, we are not so big, but Christ is, and He can handle everything.
