Where I Am

As I slept last night, I dreamt that I was preaching this following writing. I pray that this encourages you.

John 14:3, “…that where I am, there ye may be also.”

At the giving of these words by Christ, I would like to look at where He was at that moment. Christ was both fully God and fully man. Most believe that this verse is only speaking of mansions in Heaven, I believe it is speaking of much more than that. I believe it is speaking of our union with God through the death and resurrection of the Christ. Christ being the temple, (read John 2:21) us dwelling in Christ, and God being found in the Fullness in Christ, this brings us together in total union with God. I believe this with all my heart. Christ didn’t die just to bring us to mansion of Gold! No! He came to bring us into the total nature of Himself, and this is produced by our union with Him. By Him going to the cross, and to the grave… He prepared a place for us in Himself. Beloved, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” He came to bring us to a state of Heaven on earth. This is not our Home… we must keep looking upward, but we can be at Home while walking in the Spirit. Draw nigh to Him today! Be where He is, being a man in a Heavenly atmosphere all at the same time. Be His Life today.
