Home Sweet Home

I close my eyes picturing Jesus bursting into the room in His entire splendor. My stomach seemingly jumps as I squeeze all the volume I can project out of my mouth. The words in song flow from my lips and find their place directly at the feet of Jesus in worship. I open my eyes truly expecting to see Jesus calling home His Beloved Bride, but instead see a warrior of the faith laying on his dying bed and bundles of people gathered around to pay their last respects before his passing. “This doesn’t seem like a passing away time, the Glory of God is so great in this room, this seems as if we have thrown our crowns at Your feet in true worship. I would be happy to defy gravity upon Your call and meet in the sky with You and the beloved saints, leaving all earthly dreams and desires behind. Just come Lord Jesus, come. Home is with You, and being in Your presence is all that my heart longs for anymore. I see You sitting on the Throne of Heaven as the Lord of all Glory. I feel the Power of Your endless Life wrapped all around me. Lord, if You come to take my papaw home don’t dare leave without me, for my heart is with You! Almost envying the fact that my papaw gets to go and I must stay behind is a hard fact to swallow, for I long to be with You. Jesus, come speedily for Your Bride, Home is so near. Eternity with You is the greatest privilege mankind could ever ask for. Come Lord.”
Beloved, Home is Sweet, and Home is Near. Just Hold On.
