Pure Worship & Open Up The Door

Pure Worship

Though the Christian life at times becomes rocky and a worship service of the heart is the last thing one desires, I am writing this simple word of encouragement to challenge you not to lose your praise. Beloved, just for one solid day dedicate your mind to think upon how awesome our God is. Although this should be done daily sometimes a challenge as this will bring this need of worship back into focus. Dear folks, God loves us so much, we need to de-clutter, if you will, and really allow ourselves to fall in love with Jesus. I am not saying we must totally band ourselves from all fun of life but I will say that the more time we spend with Him, though we may at times have to lay down some earthly joy, the closer our relationship with Him will be. To be near Jesus is such a awestricken pleasure. We really are living under our potential of this Christian life. Let us return to real heart worship. Let us bring worship home with us in our daily living, not just 2 or 3 times a week. Jesus loves you beyond imaginable comprehension, love Him back with all you are. Bring Him Daily Pure Worship.

The Wife’s Note: Open Up the Door

As we were traveling to Louisiana from Florida a song came on the radio and some lyrics struck my attention. “Lead me Lord I follow, anywhere you Open Up the Door” this is just one line, but the main part that got me was “Open Up the Door”. I started thinking about the scripture, Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with me.” This is simply Salvation. I will be quite honest tonight I don’t feel as though God has placed many words on my heart other than salvation. Since I have been traveling on the road just for the few weeks, I have come to realize even more that Salvation is so very special and important and is the main reason that we as Christians are here. As humans we were created to worship. God designed us that way for a purpose, but he allows us to choose what we worship. It is impossible to serve God and the Devil at the same time. You are either saved or you are not. It sounds harsh, but I am not trying to be hard, I just want for every individual to realize how important true Salvation really is. The Lord said himself that he stands at the door and knocks, all he is waiting on is for us as his precious creations to allow him to come into our hearts. He is an awesome God, and he still saves. All he is waiting on is YOU!
