All of God & There's No Loss, So Choose the Cross

All of God
There is a place in Christ where few have dared to tread. This is a place of literally living in the Spirit. When someone does learn the key to living in the Spirit and they launch out into the depth of His love they almost always become labeled a fanatic, even to most Christians. This Life in the Spirit to which I refer is the purpose of Christian’s though. Christ came not to make us happy but to bring us to relationship with Himself, and out of such an awesome relationship comes joy unexplainable. Beloved, what is the key to living a life in the Spirit? How did the men of the New Testament do it? These simple common folk became empowered by the Living God and were charged as “turning the world upside down.” How did they obtain such a phenomenal God-filled life?
Unfortunately most of us today, myself included, learn to except the crumbs of the table when Christ wants us to be eating the full course in fellowship with Him. We become so willing to just settle for an occasional moving of the Spirit when God desires us to dwell there. He wants us in the Spirit at Wal-Mart! He wants us yielded to Him in the restaurant, at the mall, in the park, at the game. Wherever we are He desires to be there in fellowship with us and speaking through us. The key is simply this… When you truly give your All to God NOTHING can stand in His way of giving you His All. Do you want to live a life in the Spirit? Do you want to turn this world upside down for Christ to be more so Glorified? Do you want all of God? If your answer is a whole hearted yes then all God asks is that you would give Him your ALL. The ability is in your hand… but will you be available to except such a God in full?

The Wife’s Note: There’s no loss, so choose the cross
We were at a singing in Michigan this past week. I sat there as various groups sang and the words “Choose the Cross” popped in my head. I was unsure of what it meant, but I knew it wasn’t something I could just come up with so it must have come from the Lord.  I thought about it throughout the next few days and a few more words came “There’s no Loss, so choose the Cross”. I was still confused at how all this was coming together. I didn’t know if I was about to write a song or what I just knew I had these few little words on my mind. I thought and asked God what exactly it meant and this is what I believe it is. There is no loss in salvation, though the world may try and make it seem that way. There is no loss in our times of decision to choose Christ over petty things of this world. There is no loss in dyeing out daily to our fleshly selves. There is no loss friend, only gain! The world has salvation all twisted into its own view, but oh how wrong they are! Don’t get me wrong when you get born again you will have to give up things of this world that is only right. You can’t try to hold on to the Lord and the world at the same time, but just realize that giving up those things is no loss it is only gain. Living for Christ above all else is no loss it is only gain! Having to die to those fleshly things in the end will be no loss only gain! The lord is with you above all else so choose the cross I can guarantee that there is no loss.
