Seeking Christ In A Tomb
Beloved, why do we play games with Christ? We know His word yet we live contrary to it. Why do we become so satisfied with partial obtaining? He so deeply desires us to allow a living relationship with Him but yet we seek nothing further than our religious mode. We seek the latest tv series and keep up to date with the latest celebrity but we seek not the Living Christ. Let me ask you this, do we truly believe He is alive? If so why do we shove Him to a distant place in the back of our crowded lives? We don't allow Him to be the prevailing force within us but just a dead form of our religious actions. This Living Christ is more than the place we stand and praise! He is more than the tears sliding down our face produced by a sad song! He is more than we could ever estimate. He is Alive!! We will never find Him ALIVE in mere human measure or by our theology and ideology! Nor will we find Him ALIVE continually pacifying our flesh. Oh Beloved, listen to the words spoken of our Living Savior when those He loved so much came to anoint Him as their dead religion; "Why seek ye the Living among the dead? For He is not here but is Risen!" Dear folks, why are we seeking Christ in a tomb acting as though He is dead, trying to make Him fit our lifeless fashion of religion? We claim to believe He is the Son of God but we do not believe (take to heart and act upon) His word. Christ desires us to know Him as our Living Savior which gives us His Life. Throw our dead religion out the window and our appeasement to flesh along with it. Let us seek Christ alive once more and watch Him turn the world upside down through us for His glory. Get away from religion now for Christ is not in that tomb. Seek Him Alive and find His Life as ALL you need.
The Wife's Note: Walking By Faith Not By Sight
When we hear the word faith what are some things that pop in our head? Ponder on that question a moment. What really is faith?
Hebrews Ch.11 V. 1 states that "now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen".
There are many times in this Christian walk we must all walk by faith. Things go wrong and we still have trials. Sometimes it is hard for us to even feel like God hears us. Sometimes it feels like our prayers don't even reach the ceiling much less our heavenly father. But let me encourage you today to walk by faith and not by sight nor your feelings. The lord hears you whether you feel like he does or not. He knows your situation and your circumstance. He will not put on your plate more than you can bear. Keep praying, keep seeking, he loves you, and he hears you. Cling to his promises and walk by faith not by your current situation. Be encouraged today. He still hears you.
