The Unheard Testimony & He Has Already Been There

Once more today we take a moment to read some of the thoughts of the past that we still believe God is speaking to us about in this time. All of us become weary in faith at some point but as this devotional thought says, do not let your life become “The Unheard Testimony.” Originally Posted November 30th 2009. “The Unheard Testimony”

“Look at this storm raging in your life! The sun is so hidden behind the clouds, you won’t see anything. It’s to dark. You know you’re tired, wet, cold, hungry and thirsty. Why would a “loving God” lead you to this unbearable and unreachable place? Look!! Your heart is broken, and your mind is so torn and confused. Where do you even go from here? How do you even get to wherever it is when you do find out? What could be the point of God calling you to this spot? Why does He let your heart be broken?! He is God, isn’t He?!! Why won’t He help you now?!?! I believe He has made you give up all your fun, happiness and your whole life, and brought you here to leave you and make fun of you!! What are you going to do now Christian?”

Is that some of the lies the devil is telling you? If so, look up soul!! You have a special reward coming to you. God has allowed you to come here to this place of desperation, because He has a special work that only you can do. But you must first come to full selflessness. He has placed you right here, right now, to be a wonderful testimony to the lost and hopeless around you. He wants to proclaim Life through your continual trust in Him, to all that you come in contact with.


The making of such a testimony is rough and difficult. Often times we do feel forsaken and alone. But don’t let the thoughts of despair way you down. Put out the voice that says compromise. I know you’re tired! I know your worn! But HOLD ON!! The souls that God reaches through you will be well worth it. Don’t let Satan take you down. Think about the lost souls around you that God will speak to through your life, and this very trial. So I beg you!! Don’t let your life be.. The unheard testimony.

The Wife’s Note:  He Has Already Been There

“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews 4(15-16)
I would like to encourage you today. You are not walking in your situation alone. Christ has already been in every situation imaginable, but he held firm to what he knew was right. There will be hard times and troubles. You will be tempted and tried but rest assured Christ is right there with you. You will come out if you cling too him. He will be there in your deepest darkest nights. He understands just trust him with all you got. Be encouraged today!
