Continue In My Love & He Knows My Place

Continue In My Love

In the book of John, 15:9, Jesus says, “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” As I thought of this verse today I simply wanted to write a short message of encouragement to my fellow believers. Beloved, our Heavenly Father has so delighted in Jesus His Son. Words can truly never describe the relationship that our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, hold so deeply. But then we read these words of our Savior, “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you…” At the point of truly reading these words we can sit back with arms folded and unhesitatingly declare the phrase, “wow.” Christ delights in us. We have the ability to hold such a deep and living relationship with Him but we must “continue” in His love. So as we go about the busy pace of today take time to continue in His love and enter into His Presence.

The Wife's Note: He Knows My Place

Psalm 139:16  "You saw me before I was born. Everyday of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had past."   I probably could not count on one hand the number of times that I  have felt out of place and may have even questioned if I heard the Lord the right way. The devil loves to try and shake our faith and bring confusion. Our faith is oh so important as a believer. And if the devil can get your mind in a state of confusion...my friend it can surely shake your faith if you allow it to. I have questioned myself so many times about what God would have me to do and half the time I do not even feel like I am doing anything at all. I ask God very often to help me find my place in doing his work and the devil tries to make me believe that God does not even want me to work for him. But I have been encouraged...because he knew me before anyone else did and he knows exactly where he wants me and what work he has for me. His word let's me know that everything is going to be alright I just need to be patient and wait on him. I am so thankful to have a God that knows me in the most intimate way possible....he knows my absolute heart....and he knows exactly where he wants me and where I will go. Be encouraged today but also be thankful...for you have a God that knows you better than you know yourself.
