Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

(My View)

The last of the verses on chastening in this chapter, the writer one last time just simply says… “I know its painful, I know it hurts. But always remember… your testimony is worth your test.”

(Keep This In Mind)

We must be molded into the image and full nature of Christ. When you think about His Greatness and Majesty, and then think that our Father wants to make our life as Christ’. Think how He wants to make us as pure as His own Son… and call us His Son. We must learn to be thankful for the chastening!! For its only through this, that we have the ability to be transformed into the image of Christ.

(The Breakdown)

Although we know the chastening of the Father is for our correction, it is still very painful upon us. For chastening is not a joyous thing to experience, but rather a very overwhelming pain. But we know that when in chastening from our Father, our life is literally in the process of being molded into the character of Christ. And after our Father is through with chastening us for the short time, our life will deliver much fruit of Righteousness, Holiness, Love and Purity as Christ is, which will bring peace to our life and even the lives around us. For the reward is to them that exercise their faith and say “Father… you know best. Wherever you lead… I will follow. Whatever you must do to me, have your way. Even though the pain is great… the reward to be Christ-like (filled with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, as is the very nature of Christ) is worth the chastening. Just make me more like Him.”

(Last Thought)

This all has boiled down to just two words from our Father… “Trust Me“. He has everything under control. As long as you stay focused on Him, and allow Him to place you right where He wants you, and mold you just how He sees fit… you will be okay. For your no longer in the hands of an abusive Father, your in the hands of the Loving Father… God Almighty!!!! Now trust! For He is separating His Son from the illegitimate “Christians”.
