The Threshold

As I have began to learn Christ over the past two and a half years, He has led me to this place that I am not familiar with. It is a place I don’t understand, and one I have never been to before. I have only a blurry idea of what He wants, but I don’t know how to move deeper into where He has called. So in this time I am doing all I know to do… waiting. I am not fully sure what else to do. But I feel like Christ has been drawing me to this uncertain place for His glory. It is like He has brought me to a strange entrance, and if I could just get through the door, something is going to happen. Have you ever been there? I see something ahead, almost like I am so close that I could touch it, but He has some reason for my not being able to move beyond. It will be for His glory and honor!!

There comes a place in every true Christians life where we all meet our threshold. A threshold is just simply a entrance or a doorway. There comes this time when God leads us to our threshold. He has opened the door before us, and will give us the strength to move beyond, and into the place where He has called. Do you feel Him leading you to this uncertain place? Are you at your threshold now? Let us wait upon Jesus. For He will lead us at the right time. When I think about a threshold in the bible, I think of the children of Israel, when God delivered them from Egypt. The first place He brought them to was the Red Sea. This was there threshold. At first the door was closed, but God already had the key. Then He rolled the water back and all they had to do was walk through. But it was all for Gods glory, and all in His timing. If you have come to your threshold, just trust Him. He has a plan! And He is working everything for your good. So be ready for His time!! For when He says move… you may move beyond the threshold into the place He has called. It may take awhile to get where He wants you, but I promise when He brings you beyond… you will sing and shout with victory.
