When a trial comes our way, and confusion sweeps into our path, and rushing at us, full speed ahead, is a situation totally to big for us to handle. What is our first thought in these times? Is it, “o no!!! Not again!! I don’t want another testing time!”
At times it is very easy to find yourself allowing that to be your first thought. But lately I have been continually coming to a small simple truth. That truth being, God doesn’t want this to be my first thought. Nor a thought at all in my mind. He desires that I relax, and trust Him with all my heart. And to understand there is a reason for every trial. There is a reason I am going through whatever it may be.
The Psalmist writes, in Psalm 119:71, “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.” Searching this verse out deeper, I soon come to realize, that the word used for affliction here means more than just any normal trial. This verse could also be translated as this, (BRV… Buddy Riddell Version) “it is a good thing, (for the sake of my soul, and better knowing you, my Father) that I have been brought to this place of true humility, (and to this trial, that I had to realize I couldn’t overcome in my own power) for you have allowed me to come to sheer helplessness of my own flesh, that I may truly learn you in a new, and deeper understanding.”
Beloved, this is the reason of a trail. He wants us to know Him in ways that are new to us, and deeper than we could ever even imagine. And whatever the pain, the deeper fellowship with God is well worth it. So no matter what the trial… remember there is a great reason for a trial.

Sometimes we feel like no one out there cares, and that we are all alone. The devil tells us that we are not worthy, we will never be anything, we have failed before and people are only going to remember the bad so why even try your just going to mess up again. But I have found that by startingmy day off RIGHT with bible reading, and prayer it has made my day so much easier. It is easier to stand up to people doing wrong in my school, it makes it easier to stand up and be a leader for what is right to take a stand...
