The message of the cross, is nowadays, a almost forgotten message. The mega church says, “it’s to rude, it’s to harsh, bloody and unattractive. People don’t want to hear a gory message as such as the cross.” They have substituted the cross, for the “seeker-friendly” message. A message that says, in other words, come as you are, leave how you want… just add a little Jesus here and there, and you will be fine. But, beloved, this is a lie devised by hell itself. This is a modern trick, to get people to say a small happy prayer, and never be truly born’ again. It just simply allows men to have a small claim in religion.

Now my message isn’t directed to just one sect of people, or one view point. In fact I believe there is a lot more that needs to be brought out, and for some, (even myself) it may get a little tight. But let us just move closer within the line of God.

We have those who wont preach the cross, but we also have those who preach the full gospel, and add some to it as well. They preach a certain personal conviction, and claim that everyone that doesn’t live up to this code, will surely die lost. To those that may read this, that preach such a message, let me say a word from my heart. Beloved, in your Holy living, don’t forget that God is what brought you there to those convictions, the convictions themselves never saved you in the first place. So preach Christ… and Him crucified, and as the power for everyone that believe on Him to overcome all sin. Don’t let yourself just live in mere religion.

Now we have those, that preach the full gospel, and preach the word only, but that never pray, nor read their bible. This is of the most sly tricks of the enemy! He has produced a people, that claim Christ in word of mouth, even in their walk and talk, but they never claim Him by spending a season of pray with Him. How long has it been since you spent a hour in prayer? How long has it been since you even read a chapter out of His Holy Word? I am saying this with all love. Beloved, you are still living in religion. This is serious! This is no game to play with. A great man of God once told me some words I hope to never forget. He said something along these lines, “Buddy, you are in one of the most dangerous places a man could ever be in! Because you know all about religion, and you don’t even have to read your bible. You have heard it by growing up in church. You have learned it by hearing, and seeing it all your life. But to stay born again, you must pray and read, and have it within your heart, not just your mind.”

Beloved, religion wont make it to heaven! Only true spirituality. We must get it right! We must stop being religious!! For this is a sin, that if could be weighed, would outweigh all the sin of the world. We have more, what I call “sanctified sinners” in the world, that we have of total non professing sinners. This is tragic! You say “how do you know?” well I know because Christ said it would be like this. “Many are called… but few are chosen.” The reason so few are chosen is simply because, they was called, and then found living in religion, not spirituality. We are living around the cross... when Christ says.. "take up your cross." Beloved, I speak to myself first, then to you, let us learn the difference between religion and spirituality. For on the day of His coming… religion will not matter… only that which is spiritual will be called to meet Him in the air.
