Once Lost... Now Gained Part 2

Continuation…

Although this great fellowship, and literal design for the human race was marred by the fall of Adam… God had a rescue plan,… the second Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45, “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”

Read closely. Through Christ’ work performed at Calvary, we now have a way to be made as the pre-fallen Adam. Everything that was lost through the fall by Adam, was regained in, and by Christ. He had to first make a way for our forgiveness, so in His death and resurrection, He overcame the power of the flesh, and made a way for us to first be born again. Adam was made a living soul, but the last Adam was made a live giving soul. Meaning, He didn’t just have the life within Him, He had the power to give life! But He didn’t stop there! Now, when we become born again, we take upon us the nature of who? Christ (the second Adam)! Now we realize then, that by this being born again, we are made into the image of God, through Christ, and are once again, as the first Adam was, made into the offspring of God. But listen, beloved, not only are we just a product of the creation of the Almighty, but through Christ, we are even taken further… to the point of being called a Son of the Almighty, and one with Christ! So we see then that, through Christ, (the second Adam) was gained for us a way to again be made into the image of God!

Not only did Christ come to fulfill this one task, (which simply would have still yet been very wonderful) but also came to die, that we may have a way to be filled with the breath of God again!! But, again, this too was only obtainable because He took upon Himself, death for our sins. You may ask, “where does this breath come from?” Beloved, it was spoken of often while Christ was on earth, but only came after He ascended back, and went to set at the right hand of the Father. But, we see here in John 20:22, a small glimpse of what was to lay ahead right before Christ was to leave. “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost” The next step was to be filled with the Spirit of God again! But, still yet it was not made available for the all those born again, until on the day of Pentecost! But even there, we see this, Acts 2:1-2, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” Beloved, I can tell you that was a symbol of the breath of God being made possible for us to obtain!! So we see that being filled with the Holy Ghost is so very necessary to all those that believe! For when God breathed into the first Adam, His breath… that is when he became a “living soul!” But when we are filled with the Holy Ghost, we become as Christ is… a life giving soul! Wherever we go we are to produce life! Why? Because we are filled with the total nature, power and life of God Almighty, and now live in a lifeless, sin bound world. So again I say, we really need to be filled! How great!! How wonderful!! Everything that was lost in the fall of Adam… Christ made alive again!! We now can be as the pre-fallen! We now can enjoy the deep communion that was lost! We can now live a life in the Spirit, and enjoy every blessing that Adam did enjoy! We can now be Heavenly individuals, wrapped in a body of earth! Rejoice, Beloved! For through Christ, we now have renewed fellowship with God Almighty! For all was once lost… but now, all is gained… through this blessed Savior!!!! Amen!
