Sometimes..

Sometimes you feel as if your life is crumbling in before you. Sometimes all hope seems to be so far away. Sometimes you pray so hard, only to come up still searching for where God is. Sometimes you battle flesh, until you just want to give up. Sometimes you pore your heart into ministry, while hell pores on you. Sometimes life gets so weary, you want to stop, and rest just for a moment. Sometimes you get scared, because God seems to be nowhere around. Sometimes…

But sometimes, you realize. You realize your life isn’t crumbling before you, God is just shaking everything unlike Himself away. You realize hope hasn’t gotten to far away, He is calling you to come on deeper with Christ! You realize that through all that prayer, God has really come closer to you, and by your searching so hard for Him, you have overlooked Him… living right within you. You realize you really aren’t wanting to give up the fight on the flesh, but that you really just want to win even more. You realize that you must be doing something right, cause hell only pores on those that are a threat, so you will keep poring your heart out for God. You realize that your weariness is nothing compared to what Christ went through for you to even be born again, so you really don’t want to stop, but just learn to rest in His caring love. You realize there is no need to be scared and to fear, for you are in the righteous right hand of your Heavenly Father. You realize….. sometimes.
