Who Are You Worshipping

When becoming born again, as I have said many times before, we are literally born into the nature of Christ. So by this we realize, the Christ in us (the new regenerate man) does not sin. You say, “well I still make mistakes sometimes and sin, but I know I am born again.” and if you are truly born again, you are correct. But that still doesn’t change the fact that the Christ in you, (your new man) is not the one that sins. Your born again nature has never known sin. Christ will not sin against Himself, just as I wouldn’t go jump off of the Golden Gate Bridge, simply because I know that that would kill me. The same is with Christ, for He simply will not do anything that will hurt Him. So now by this we can see, when we become born again, our new birthed man, knows no sin, nor indeed can even sin at all. Hang with me now.

“If the new person I am now cant sin, then how can we backslide?” Let me point this major note out. Your new birthed man knows no sin, and neither indeed can know sin, but your old man knows nothing but sin. So when you make a sinful mistake, and when you fall into some of the sinful things you came from, you must realize, the new man in you didn’t sin, but somehow, someway, the old man has been allowed to be reborn inside of you again. And if this continues on and on without grabbing hold of the old man by the nap of the neck and putting him back where he belongs, you will starve the Christ in you to death, and you will die spiritually.

Now I have said all of this, to say something rather simple. When you commit sin for any period of time at all, Satan will look at the old man in you rising back up, and He will take your sinning, and collect it as honorable worship. Just as Christ takes it as honorable worship when you wake up daily, and crucify the flesh, so the Devil takes your sinning as willful, honorable worship, when you began to starve the Christ in you, and feed the flesh again. He just wants to get you in a lost enough state where he can drag you to hell and make God appear as a liar. See, dear friend, this is why we must strive for perfection in Christ Jesus. I know we all fall and often make mistakes, but we must soon get up, and stop hiding behind the phrase “nobody is perfect.” Beloved, do see, …yes there is somebody perfect. His name is Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. He is forever perfect, never knowing sin, and if you are born again, you are born into His nature. So total perfection does live within you, it is just a lifelong process of that total perfection (Christ) being able to live completely through you.

If somewhere along the line you have allowed sin in your life, little or small, you must get it right with the Lord before it is to late. Don’t keep worshiping Satan by playing with sin, but restore your spiritual life again. Neglect is the major key that leads to worshipping Satan. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Restore the life of Christ, don’t starve Him out of your life. Maybe you love Him, and you have somehow gotten mixed up in a sin, but hear me… you can be free. As I said, Christ doesn’t want you in sin, because it kills Him in you. So realize! It isn’t His will for you to live in any kind of sin. Don’t be found worshipping Satan through a sin that is not your friend. Ask yourself, is there anything I need to get right with God? I know I raise my hands and pray at church, but who am I truly worshipping with my spiritual walk and actions?
