“Are you living close enough to me to make it in the rapture?”
Those are the words God laid on my heart yesterday between the morning and evening services while I was reading. He then brought this to my mind, “Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:19-23.
The tree mentioned by Christ here is any claiming believer that does not bring forth the full fruit of the Holy Spirit of Christ. This is what the Lord made real to me. An apple tree that only produces one apple a year is more profitable used for firewood, but if it brings forth the right amount every year then it is a tree that is producing its nature. The reason Christ will have to cast most of the professing Church of today in hell is simply because they claim to be filled and living in the Spirit, but bear less than one fruit a year and are content to bear only that, and most less than that. I am telling you, dear soul, as the tears fill my eyes… if you are not bearing His fruit… you aint going when He calls the Church Home. “I want to live in the Spirit, but how do you do that?” a young man asked me last evening. I could only tell him what I am practicing in my own life while still waiting on the Spirit to come, and that was “be conformed in every area to the word, and you are bound to be filled and to walk a life in the Holy Spirit of the Word (Christ Jesus). Beloved, I pray the Holy Spirit comes and opens your eyes to see where you are in Him. Ask yourself today, “is my life bearing enough fruit? Is my life the literal life of Christ? Do I display His will, desire, thoughts, actions, and life through my will, desire, thoughts, actions and way I live? Or will He have to cut me down as a fruitless tree, and cast me away saying, “depart from me, for you didn’t bear my fruit to the extent I called you to. You worked your own will… and didn’t come into conformity to mine. You lived your own life… and reduced mine to a mere coming to church 2 or 3 times a week, singing a couple of songs, dancing and giving a little idol worship to flesh, although it comes to my name I reject it for I only accept worship that comes from a fruit bearing heart. I gave you time to bear my fruit. I gave you time to love me more than sleep. I gave you time to love me more than work. I gave you time enough to bear, but you stopped at the mere marks of the religious crowd around you, never pressing beyond into the fullness of my life, therefore not bearing my fruit. You, by choice, bore the fruit of your own selfish, “take it easy and add Jesus here and there” life that appears before my eyes as iniquity and sin. I gave you time… but time is up... depart from me you worker of your own sinful wants.”
Beloved, I beg you to examine your life thoroughly. Ask yourselves “am I living close enough to Him to make it in the rapture? Am I living His life, and bearing His fruit of the Spirit?” Beloved, all unfruitful Christians will not go in the rapture. All lives un-conformed to Christ’s life are earthbound and never going in the rapture. O so troubled in my spirit I felt when God Almighty asked me these words… “Are you living close enough to me to make it in the rapture?” In shock I realized… I am living off of the fruits of yesterday… but only those that bear fruits daily out of complete devotion and love to Him will make it when the words “come up hither” are uttered by our Savior. Dear Soul… are you going in the rapture?
