Surviving Off The Suds

Ever went to wash your hands, and as you press the soap dispenser that appears to be filled with soap, and nothing but water and bubbles come out? It is true that this sort of watered down soap will make your hands smell just as the real soap would, and even appear to get your hands clean, but at the end of the day it is still just watered down soap suds. The suds are what are left behind when the soap becomes watered down.


Today in the Church we have a lot of Christians trying to make it to Heaven off of the suds of religion. They come to the altar, appear to get clean and even smell like a Christian, but they never really sell out and purchase the true cleansing soap of Christ fully. This person is a middle grounding Christian. They aren’t dirty as they was because they have been washed and made clean to a certain extent by the suds produced by religion, but they aren’t really totally clean either because they haven’t got the blood of Christ that cleanses a man to the deepest innermost parts alive within them. Religion is a counterfeit to Spirituality. It resembles, but it doesn’t meet the condition of Heaven and a Christ filled life. Beloved, only those that do not water this Spiritual life down will spend eternity with this Thrice Holy God. Let us not water this salvation plan down by excepting the terms of the religious, but let us move on into the perfection of Christ redemptive work. Maybe you have truly been blood washed and born again before, but you’ve never paid the price again to refill on this cleansing and keeping soap of Christ and so you have taken the easier way of religion as second best and close enough. Dear soul, you cannot live off of the suds. This is a Spiritual way. This is a clean way. This is Christ’s way… and He is the only way. Don’t trade the Spiritual for the religious. Come to Jesus and be cleansed by the Blood He shed, and be continually brought to cleansing and perfection through the Holy Spirit He sent at Pentecost. Cast away the watered down message out of your life, and come and get it the Bible way. For you can’t survive off the suds, only the true soap will do.
