Learning Obedience

Hebrews 5:8, “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered”

Beloved, stop and think for just a moment about this verse… Christ, the sinless Son of God, came to this earth in a human body and became so much like us that He had to go through everything we would. Though He was fully God… He was also fully man. This verse tell us how we too will learn true obedience. If you are going through a trial right now, look up, for “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him…” Obedience is produced through trials, and that obedience brings us to perfection and oneness with Christ! To learn obedience is to then become perfect before God in our living in the complete oneness with Christ. Amen! That thought so wonderful should keep us awake tonight! Let us gladly then go through every trial that we may become legitimist sons being found in oneness with God’s only Son… Jesus Christ, through our obedience.
