Always There

A relationship of any kind requires one major thing; that being trust. You must have this working very effectively in the relationship of any kind. We must come to trust God at His Word. When He says that He loves us we must believe that as a fact. Many times when we go through a trial it seems that His words spoken to us will become under attack. This is because if we can somehow be brought to doubt His words then we can be brought to destruction. Unbelief is a sin amongst the worst. It is in these times that we must realize that although we don’t have any sense of His being near us, He still is because He promised. We must believe this promise on the grounds of the Word. Beloved, if you are going through the trial now, and you don’t feel His presence near, it is critical for you to read your bible and trust His promises to you. He says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee…” and you must allow Him to make that not just words on a page, but a settled fact of life within you. Don’t doubt His being there, for He is always there. But the question is this… are you always there? Are you striving to be faithful in believing His promises? He is always there even if we fail, let us believe it and come nearer to Him with a full assurance of faith.
