Cradle Christians

I have always been in a Christian home, and many times I realize that to be raised in a home that teaches Christ is like being born 10 miles ahead on the road of life compared to most people. But this can also raise an issue as well. Most who are born into a Christian family grow up all their life with only having felt God and seen Him work in service, and just automatically they begin believing they are saved. This is the tragedy of our time in most evangelical churches. I can say this with understanding, because I was one of these cradle Christians. But thank God!!! I found that Christ demands a personal relationship, He convicted me of my sins and of the lifestyle of being a play actor, which the bible calls a hypocrite, and made me to know through the power of the Holy Ghost that I was just as lost as any drug addict ever will be. He made me to understand that HE HAS NO GRANDCHILDREN! This is a personal daily walk with the Lord. This Christian life is all about Christ being manifested through us, and His being the Son of God, therefore living His life through us makes us Son’s of God also. We must not allow ourselves to simply be cradle Christians, never knowing God as our Everything. Ask yourself today… are you a cradle Christian? Have you ever really had that life changing experience where you was born again by the power of the Holy Ghost? No cradle Christians, nobody trying to get into Heaven by mom and dads experience will see Heaven as their Home. You Must Be Born Again.
