The Greater In You

1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

What a verse! If we could just remember this promise while in spiritual battle against the devil. John is writing here, speaking of the many antichrist spirits that is in the world that come against the true believer, but he then makes a profound statement that will always shake the heart of the enemy… “Ye are of God…” He is in essence saying, “you cannot live this Christian life on your on, you could never be Holy enough in yourself to live this Christian life, and on the opposite side of the coin, you could never handle the attacks of the antichrist spirit without Him, but don’t worry… you are not living this life yourself, for you are born of God! He is all conqueror, and His Life is your life. He has overcome all obstacles, and you will also by simply becoming yielded to His will that He may live His victorious life through you. Don’t be scared when the devil attacks you! Just know… the Greater in you is the God of before time. He is the Alfa and Omega! He Was, He Is and He Always Will Be! He is the I AM! He is the Fire in the bush! He is the Cloud in the Most Holy Place! He is the Lamb that was Slain! He is the one that died on the cross… He is the one that left the tomb on the third day with the keys of death, hell and the grave! He is the resurrection! He is the Life! He is the Conqueror!!! Why lose? Don’t be weary!! The Greater Lives In You!!!”
