Thanks For Giving

As this wonderful Holiday approaches us very rapidly, we look forward to the thrills of the season. All the food, family and laugher will bring much joy to our hearts. This year will be my first year on the road for thanksgiving. As I have been thinking about the way everything fell in the schedule, I also have to remember that none of these things is really what thanksgiving is about. They are just byproducts of why we really are thankful. This year, let us remember the greatest event in the history of the world… Christ coming to this earth to save us from sin and ourselves. Let us thank the Father for giving His only Son and allowing Him to die upon a cross, and enter into the depths of the earth for three days, obtaining the keys to death, hell and the grave, and rising on the third day with the victory for lost mankind. Let us thank Christ for giving the Holy Ghost in His Name on the day of Pentecost, that we may have the ability to be filled with the same Resurrection Life that raised Him from the tomb. Let us thank the Holy Ghost for giving us a revelation of Christ, and convicting us of our sins that we could see we where absent without Christ. Let us accept all the giving of God, and let us never forget to thank Him for giving. Happy Thanksgiving!

Note- Since this is a Holiday week, we will resume our writing on this coming Monday. Have a safe week! Allow God to be the central point! God Bless.
