Amplified Relationship- (The Speaking Instrument)

A Metaphor

“Music is an expression of the deepest facet of the heart. It is a language of life as it moves and breathes with the composer. What is heard in the inner being is developed and critiqued to perfection as it is manifested into a beautiful masterpiece. Lucky for me I finally landed the sweet spot, finding the absolute best Composer. Excuse me for my rudeness, I guess I should introduce myself. Hi! My name is Gibson, but my Composer calls me Gibb. I am 19 now, but I play just as good, if not better, than when I was brand new. I mean, yeah I am getting older and sort of rough around the binding, but as I like to say, “You can’t keep a good guitar down!” I have been all over though. I was in some really rough spots when I was younger, and after some mix-ups in the music store I found myself in the hands of a hard player. After many years of abuse, in and out of different peoples homes and musical lives, my Composer spotted me in a pile of junk at a pawnshop on the bad side of the tracks. Boy am I ever thankful He found me. He bought me at a price I really wasn’t worth in most peoples eyes, and He brought me to His workshop where He fixed me all up better than ever. Everyday He takes me up and so tenderly expresses His heart through me. As His pick gently glides over my strings, I began to ring as loud as I can, filling the atmosphere with His deepest emotions through tones He naturally pulls out of me. How I love the Life He Composes through me. I am honored that He chose me to express Himself through. All I have to do is be willing to project with the most volume I can, and He does the rest. Well hey, sorry to run but it is time for another brilliant composition from my Composer. I want to amplify His heart to the best of my ability today. Have a good one!”

Beloved, we are to do nothing but project what Christ plays through us. Are you only projecting what He composes? Or are you playing your own tune? Amplify Him through your relationship of humility and obedience today.
