I fall to my knees
I need some Peace
I must have relief in this world of agony.
Tears fall from my face
Fear grips my faith
As hope walks away into a new day.
I see only death
No joy and no rest
How could God just leave me like this?
Prayer is dry
He seems so high
How can I be the apple of His eye?
My fight is all wrong
The battle is long
I believe I have lost victories song.
Lord, what can I do
I’m desperate for You
Please come and save me, just get this thing through!
I throw at Him
All that’s within
Out of disgust and anger again.
But…
His hand takes mine
And to my surprise
Everlasting love He has in mind.
Why did I fret
He never has left
My Spirit retunes to the battle still yet.
I will keep pressing on
And it wont be that long
Until you can read my “Over Comers Poem”
Never give up
Never give in
Jesus is with you my dear friend.
