Priorities Matter & The Wife’s Note: Is That All He Gets?

Priorities Matter
Beloved, do we ever really think about what it means to hold a relationship with God? How do we let such a magnificent beauty slip by us? We trade moments with God for movies with pizza and popcorn. We keep late hours working our world to the fullest potential and fail to remember our world at best will never save us. Neglecting Christ for our wants while others this day are on trial for their committed love to Him. I am among the worst for showing Him I love Him by my priorities. Let us expose our love to Him today through our genuine faith and our placing Him first no matter what. Priorities really do matter.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” -Jesus Christ (matthew 6:33 k.j.v.)
The Wife’s Note: Is That All He Gets?
We call on him when we feel lost. We call on him when disaster strikes. We call on him when we stumble. We call on him when we feel alone. We call on him when we have nothing else…
But what about the good times?
Do we call on him like we should when we are found? Do we call his name when we are walking with no hindrances? Do we call on him when we have plenty of company? Do we call his name when we feel that everything is going just right?
You will find for the very top statements that if they were questions your answers would be yes. And believe me I am not taking away from the fact that we should call on the Lord in our time of need because we should, but with that being said that should not be the only time we call out his name. Friend, I have to ask you this….Is That All He Gets? Does he only get our time when we need something? Is that what our savior deserves? No Way! He deserves so much more. It is time to stop putting him last and start putting him first because that is what he really deserves.
