The Wife's Note: Thankful

Well hello everyone! It is so good to finally be writing again. A lot has happened while the site has been down. As most of you know I dislocated my shoulder for the fourth time about 3 weeks ago. I was taken to Bethseda hospital in Lebanon Ohio to have it put back into place. Since this was the fourth time and it did come out so easy doctors were saying that more than likely I would be having surgery because my labrum(muscle in shoulder) was probably torn. I had x rays and MRI's done throughout the 3 week period. Today I went to the doctor to see exactly how bad the damage was to my shoulder. We were hoping and praying for the best but there was still a little part of me that expected the worst. But...today the doctor walked in very calm and looked at buddy and I and let us know that I was not going to have to have surgery. In fact, he saw a little wear and tear from the MRI but as far as surgery went I was fine and was in absolutely no hurry to have it. He told me to call him if there was anymore trouble but other than that I was in good shape. What a great god we serve! God has not only shielded me from surgery once but he has done it four times now. Most people do not just dislocate their shoulder four times and walk out of it without some kind of surgery....but thanks to the Lord I have. We do not realize just how big he really is but even in all his wonderful glory he still takes care of us. Sometimes we take for granted the little things like our health, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the warm bed we sleep in every night....I'm just so thankful for a God that loves and takes care of his children. We should thank him everyday for just being the wonderful God he is. Be thankful today and remember I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread.
