Never Give Up... Just Give In

This writing today, is for the weary soul that is fighting some kind of battle. If you are not fighting a battle, then this probably wont be very encouraging, or of much use to you at this moment.

Beloved, you may be right now fighting a battle of some temptation, or maybe it is a battle of confusion for finding His perfect will. Whatever the battle, let me encourage you today. I know sometimes it is so hard. I can identify with you fellow soldier. I know what it means to fight! I know what it means to feel as if you awake daily, already in a hot, fierce battle. Where it seems that Satan, and his demons are charging at you with all their force, trying to scare you, and get you to fall. I know what it means to seem as if you are drowning in a pool of your own reeking flesh. Where God seems so far away! “I have failed Him to many times” you think, “My life with Him is over! I want to go on serving Him, but I am scared He wont love me anymore. I am so ashamed of my failures, but it’s as if I cant figure out how to overcome. I am even to ashamed to speak to Him right now.”

Beloved, I write this out of so much love. If you are in either of these places I have spoken of, let me tell you a simple word,… never give up,… just give in. You have no other choice, beloved. If you are in the midst of this heavy battle, the bullets of hell rushing past you, maybe you have even been hit, and you are down. Don’t give up!! Don’t be discouraged! For God knows! He knows right now where you are! He sees you! He loves you! And you are not alone! If you can wipe the blood and sweat from your eyes, you will look up into the face of this blessed Savior! Don’t panic, for your spiritual eyesight wont always be so dim and blurry. No! Never give up, beloved! I am not here to be as a spiritual cheerleader, but I am tired of seeing my loved ones give up! I am tired of seeing people turn around, and join the enemy of God! You cant give up, beloved, because I am counting on you, but even more so… this King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Great and Mighty God is counting on you. Never give up,… just give in!

“What do you mean by give in” you ask? It is found in James 4:7,“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” The key to victory is in this verse. It shows us to first, literally put our whole life in the care of Christ, problems and all. Let Him have total control, and He will keep us from spiritual death. If we make a mistake, and take control in our flesh again, we must quickly repent, and trust Him for His unfailing love to sustain us, and for Him to live His life through us. Then, we must also resist the attacks of the enemy. Flesh will again arise, and try and take over the spiritual life of Christ within us. So, remember… never give up to the enemy, beloved. Just keep giving in, totally, to the life of Christ.
