The Gospel Is Peace

Ephesians 6:15, “And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”


Peace is known to be the state of tranquility where the noisy hindrances are hidden away from a person. This is true in a secular sense, but what is the “gospel of peace”? Beloved, the gospel of peace is nothing other than the Being of Christ.

Isaiah 9:6,“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Just as every other piece of the armor we have seen, this is also speaking directly of us simply coming to the place of death to ourselves, where Christ’s Life can be our Life. There is no true peace outside of Christ’s Being, He is Peace and who He is must be lived through an individual to obtain true peace. When our feet is armored with the Prince of Peace, our lives are sure to be lived in a place of deep communion and fellowship with Him at all times. Even in the most confusing battles, when our feet is governed by His literal Being of Peace, we will always find a place of unshakable faith. Beloved, this gospel is all Christ, and Christ is Peace… govern your every step by the Word… the Gospel is Peace.
