Our Salvation

Ephesians 6:17, “And take the helmet of salvation…”

As the reoccurring point has been over the past few writings, Christ literally must be all or all is totally lost. The moment that we think we are saved because God needs our talent, good looks, great public relation abilities or whatever the situation may be, that is when our salvation becomes as useless as a screen door on a submarine. We must understand that God never needed us… He chose us out of His extreme love for us. We are privileged to know Christ… that isn’t a right. Many times we began to think that God has chosen us because He has seen some good in us. It is crucial to the furthering of the Gospel that we see through this lie from hell. There is no good in anyone other than Christ Himself. If that were not so He would have never had to die, for He would have built eternal salvation upon that good in man. This is why my always sounding message is, we must die to our flesh and He must be allowed to Live His exact Being through us. The “helmet of salvation” is simply just another point of Christ being the total armor and Life. We must have Christ’s thoughts as ours. Our hearts must beat as one. He is our salvation, and His Life must be ours. When He as Salvation has total control of our minds, we will be completely governed by the Spirit continually, and although we may at times fail, we can be as eternal as God Himself. Now don’t misunderstand me, I am not saying we are eternally saved when we ask Christ into our heart. But I am saying that as long as we maintain Christ’s Life, and keep our mind guarded with His Being Salvation we will always remain saved. Beloved, Christ is our only means of Salvation. Just simply let His Life cover and govern your mind and you are sure to see God face to face.
