This King Of Life

“You’re more than words on a page I read. More than my hands raised on Sunday. You’re more than the tears falling down my face… You Are My King!”

These previous words are from a verse to a song the Lord has given me. Through trials and tests we come to know this our Life in a new way progressively, but one of the very first ways we must come to know Him after knowing Him as Savior, is as Lord and King. He will not be our Savior unless He is also our King. When He is our King it simply means He is the governing factor of our life in totality. He is not just words we read about in the bible… He is the Life behind the words. He is not simply something we will feel, or something we do… He is the Creator of action and the Ordaining Life of the senses! Christ is All! If we do not see Him as being All then we do not see Him as He is. We must see Him as governing factor of all points of Life! See, He is the King of All, and we must reside to our humble state so He may be seen as King of All through our being.

“Who is this King of Glory?! The LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in battle.” Psalms 24:8. Is He your King, beloved? Does He govern your life, or do you live it by your own fleshly plans and still try and worship this King of All Kings, and Lord of All Lords? If so you are not seeing Him as He is. He is this King of Glory, but He must be the King of your life, the King of your plans. When He is the total governing force of your life, then He will be seen as the “LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in battle” through your life. When He is truly your King He will truly be your Savior in the fullest sense. He is a God so great you can never even fathom His Being, so wonderfully amazing that you cant even imagine His likeness but He imagined your being before you was ever created. So massive that you cant hold Him in your hands, He holds your next breath. Hey! This is the King, He governs All Life, and if you will submit He will govern yours also! King of All true Life, I desire Him to be King of mine also… for when He rules… Life is Heavenly.
