When The Test Comes

When Eve was in the garden of Eden the dreadful day humanity was sold into bondage for a moment of self-gratification, the bible says “And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:9-10.

Beloved, God would hold communion with those first people in the garden. They knew that He would come and walk and fellowship with them, but we know that God knows and sees everything at every moment. But it is important for us to realize that these first people would at times come to the place where they wouldn’t feel God. They come to the place that although God was there continually, He would hide His presence from them, making His Being unaware and unknown to them. It was in these times that God would test His creation. In this time is when Eve ate the fruit that has been killing humanity since. Beloved, God allowed this place of the senses being unaware of His presence to prove that His creation would hold faith in Him even when they couldn’t see Him. Today, we as Born Again creations will be allowed to go through this same test of faith. He is looking for a faithful creation. He is searching for somebody that will stand in the hour of temptation of eating the fruit of self-understanding and not take their own fleshly path, and will come out in the end still holding reliance in God’s faithfulness. Maybe you cannot see God now in your Christian Life. Maybe you don’t hear His voice, don’t feel the warmth of His presence, nor the deep communion you once shared with Him. Beloved, take courage! God is testing your faithfulness in Him! He is seeking your complete devotion to Him even when His Life is absent to your spiritual senses. Don’t fail as our parents in the garden… for fear will grip your life and separation with God will sure set in. Make up your mind now that through the Power and yielding to the Holy Spirit that you will stand… when the test of God comes. Now do realize, God never will tempt you, but He will withdraw His presence from you at times when the devil tempts you… again, it is simply allowed by God to prove your faithfulness. Hold Faith… When The Test Comes.
