If The Devil Told The Truth

Many times we fear the devil, and rightly so, but not the extent that we do. We should only fear being his servant or working his plan, not fear him himself. Nowhere in the bible does Christ give us permission to fear the devil. So we must not fear him for who he is.

If we could somehow get the devil to tell us the truth for just one moment he would have to say that he has no power over us that are born again. He would tell us the battle of Calvary was won by the King of All Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. He would admit that he roams around as a roaring lion, but he would also shamefully say that his teeth have been broken to the power of Christ in us. If the devil told the truth he would have to tell of the great victory of Christ won throughout all the ages. Beloved, if the devil told the truth, you would never fear him again. His only strong point is that he is a master deceiver. Don’t be deceived by him today. Whatever he is telling you is a lie, and you can faithfully grasp the fact that “GREATER IS HE that is in you than he that is in the world.”

“No need to fear me anymore … I have lost my power over you. I cannot even touch you without the permission of your Heavenly Father.” would be the words of the devil if he told the truth. Just trust in the total victory of Christ for you, and walk in it through the Holy Spirit daily.
