Guilty God
Do you ever feel condemned in your heart while you know you are walking in fellowship with Christ, and truly believe that this condemnation is coming from God? I know that I have felt this way many times over the few years I have been walking with Christ. This year I finally realized through the help of the Holy Spirit that God never condemns anything that He inhabits. If there is a willful sin in your life then God will allow condemnation to set in on that sin, but He never will condemn anything that He inhabits.
Romans 8:1-4, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
Romans 8:33-34, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
The Christian is declared right with God only by the life of Christ being placed within Him. God justifies us by birthing the spotless life of His Son in us, and continually molding us to His image and nature. We don’t become able to live the Christian life, this life isn’t hard it is impossible, we can only live this life by letting Him live His through us. When we realize that Christ is the fullness of the Christian life, and it is by His righteousness that we are made right with God, we can then understand that this is why there is no condemnation to the born again believer. God will convict us, but never condemn us. When the devil comes trying to bring condemnation into your life against you, you boldly stand up and declare that it is impossible to damn God, for He will never be declared condemned, and since He is your life, you refuse to live under the condemnation of your past. Beloved, in yourself you are condemned, but now you are not your own, Christ lives within you… and He will never be found guilty. Amen! Don’t let the devil discourage you with thoughts of condemnation but standup and realize that you are one with Christ through the Holy Spirit. We don’t have condemnation, for we don’t have a guilty God to condemn.
