Considering Jesus - His Power To Enter The Strong Man’s House

There were many people in the house the day Jesus came by. I was just one among the crowd when I overheard the leaders of religious law speaking. “People, this Jesus is the Prince of demons! He must be possessed by Satan! That has to be where He gets His power.” they so harshly spoke. But Jesus called them before Him, and He spoke in an illustration, saying, “How can Satan cast out Satan? Why would he even want to cast himself from people? A kingdom divided by civil war will collapse. Similarly, a family that is divided by feuding will fall apart. And if Satan is divided and fights against himself, how can he stand? He would never be able to survive. It is like this… who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and take his goods? Only someone even stronger- someone who could tie him up and plunder his house!” It was more than evident that this Beloved Jesus was the Stronger. Everyone knew He was showing in illustration how He had the power to enter right into the very house of Satan and take whatever He wanted, for He had Strength greater than the strong man; Satan. I have often remembered this in my times of weakness. When I feel trapped by the devil, I consider Jesus… and remember that He is Stronger than the strong man that binds. Beloved, whatever you feel bound by just consider Jesus and hold faith in Him as the Stronger!
